Noel, Noel .......

*This post is part of the December promotion fortnight. Remember to leave a comment to be entered in the giveaway.*

Good morning all, me back again,

As I promised on Wednesday here is the other choice home decor piece that the ladies made at the end of year Christmas class last Friday, this one is Noel.......

This home décor piece was again created using Anna Marie Designs MDF Noel Plaques which they began by coating it in white gesso paint to give it a good base coat. Like the snow before after it was dried they then went on to dry brush the their words with an acrylic paint colour, I used a pale green for this one.....

After that was dry they then brayered  Diamond sparkle Medium over the words and base before assembling together.....

It gives it a really nice shabby chic but subtle sparkly effect.....

The Anna Marie Designs Poinsettias were stamped in Versafine Black Onyx and embossed with Wow Clear Sparkle Powder on to coloured papers and then cut out, shaped and layered together. I added a golden rhinestone sparkler in to the centre of each....

They also had a couple of white punched flowers to add sparkle to and a couple of little gems........

Then there were punched holly leaves in two different sorts that they added colour to with Distress inks and courtesy of a lovely pine tree, scrumped cones and twigs which they gave a snowy effect with gesso.

Finally they added some Gold Stickles to the piece to finish it off and this one will be sitting on my mantlepiece this Christmas.....

That is all from me for now but I will be back next week to show you yet another home décor piece, I am really getting in to all this .....

Have a great weekend

Hugs Lisa B xxx

  5. Oh my! I thought the other one you shared was a stunner but this is just as beautiful! I love that you have used a really traditional colour scheme but you have updated it by using the fresher green! I definitely need that stamp as it will work the whole year through and I love those sparkly dots - got to have some of those soon too! I want it for my home! Thank you for sharing and for the chance Karen x
