October/November Newsletter

Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you had a great October, I had a few weeks holiday and loved every minute but now it's time to get back to work.
This newsletter is going out a little late, but this Saturday, October 27 is the Polkadoodles Christmas card making workshop at Grove Green Community Hall, ME14 5BT, between 10am and 3pm.

We'll be using some lovely Polkadoodles stamps to make Christmas cards. The workshop fee includes a Polkadoodles stamp set and stencil to use during the workshop and to take home afterwards. There's just one place left, so if you'd like to attend you can book online HERE.

Workshops must be booked and paid for in advance.
For those of you attending the workshop, here is a list of what we are going to be using, but PLEASE don't worry if you don't have any of them as there will be some of each to use. If you do have any of them and want to bring them with you, it may save you having to wait for items:
Heat Gun
Onyx Black Versafine Ink/Black Archival Ink
Distress Oxides
Tumbled Glass Distress Ink
Clean Colour Pens
Blending tool and blending foams
Fine detail paintbrushes
Stamping platform/assorted acrylic blocks
White/Clear Stickles glitter glue
Diamond Sparkle Medium
Black fine liner pen

The mobile shop will be open during the workshop, please feel free to drop in if you're in the area.

Online booking is open HERE for the November 11 Crafter's Companion workshop. Those of you attending this Saturday's workshop will see what we'll be using and I hope to have samples ready by the end of next week.
In other news, I will be on Hochanda tomorrow, Friday October 26 with Jenny Mayes of Hobby Art launching some new stamp sets that I've designed for Hobby Art. I'm delighted with how they've turned out and I'm keeping my fingers that you like them. Programme times tomorrow are 10am and 3pm.

Next week, between November 1st and 4th, I will be at the Christmas crafting show at the NEC in Birmingham, demoing and doing make and takes alongside Jenny for Hobby Art. It would be lovely to see you if you are attending the show.

That's all for now, have a great month.

Hugs, Lisa B xx
