*This is the FINAL post of the November promotion fortnight. Remember to leave a comment to be entered in the giveaway.*
The winner will be announced here tomorrow.
Hello crafters, I'm hoping you're having a great weekend so far. I've got a step-by-step for you today, with lots of photos, so let's get started.
I was thinking about non-traditional Christmas cards, perhaps for teenagers, or for people who don't really 'do' Christmas. Here's the first card............
I began by brayering Imagination Crafts Silkies paints onto a piece of torn
Woodware ribbed kraft card; Lavender Lace, Silver Satin, Royal Satin..........
Lavender Lace first.......
Then Royal Satin .........
Silver Satin next........
I used a bottle cap & an old gift card dipped in black acrylic paint..........
Mixed white gesso & water & splattered the mix on the card with a paintbrush..........
Then Black Stars Sparkle Medium through the Fir Trees stencil.............
The greeting is from the Woodware Clear Magic Treemendous Dots stamp set. The card is matted & layered onto grey core'dinations & a white card blank.............
I liked the finished card so much I made two more in different colours.
First; Tuscan Satin, Red Satin, Emerald Satin, Apple Lace Silkies & Bright Red Sparkle Medium.............
Then Sunshine Satin, Red Satin, Bronze Brocade, Gold Brocade Silkies & Ruby Gold Sparkle Medium...........
Thanks for looking. Remember to make sure you've left comments on all of the Promotion Fortnight posts. See you tomorrow.
