Fir Trees - First of the Class Cards.....

*This post is part of the November promotion fortnight. Remember to leave a comment to be entered in the giveaway.*

Good morning all,

Lisa here with the first of the class cards from last Fridays workshop with was Stencilling with Sparkle Medium including Acetate.......

It is a lovely card that is dimensional  but that can be made to go flat to go in the post as the acetate is not secured both ides but tucks in......

The card was created using the Fir Trees Stencil and Fir Trees Background which will be in stock on the website next week as it all sold out at the class. The ladies used a Palette Knife and Silver Sparkle Medium ( in stock next week as well on the website ) through the stencil to add the trees on to the background and then repeated the process on to some thick acetate that was wider that the background to create the front trees......

You can see in this picture the lovely effect that you get. The acetate is attached to left hand punched border that acts as a hinge and tucks behind the main image and then the right hand side just tucks in to the right hand punched border. This is so that when you put it in an envelope it lies flat and is no wider than the overall card 7" x 7" ......

Silver stickles was added to the edges of the punched border and a message stamped inside....

Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to leave a message to be in the give away and I will be back tomorrow to show you the second card from the class.....

Big hugs
Lisa.B xx

  6. The rounded acetate is a lovely touch, a bit like a window to the snowy landscape.
