Trio of Trees......

Good morning, Kirsten here. Lisa won't be blogging for the next week or two, but she did upload some photos of her projects & I'm going to do my best to describe how she created them.

Today's card is a companion of the first project made at the November class. Lisa used the

She applied the SM through the stencil of both trees first & once they were completely dry, she replaced the stencil of the wider tree on top & applied more SM.

She decorated the trees with Lapis Blue
& Amethyst Sparkle Medium & used Fluffy Stuff on the background paper.

She finished by matting & layering with silver mirri card onto a white 7x7 card blank.

Two of Two

Good morning, happy Friday. Three weeks ago at the November class I showed the ladies how easy it is to use two colours of Sparkle Medium together & afterwards I had these sample pieces left over.........

It would be a pity to waste them, so I've made two quick cards so far. This one is Bright Red SM with Diamond SM on top......

It couldn't be easier to do. Apply the darker colour first, clean your palette knife to avoid mixing the colours in their pots, then immediately apply the second, lighter colour. You can be very neat & exact & cover the entire bottom layer, or apply less of the top layer, as I've done above, to create more texture.

Here I used Ruby Gold first, then Gold Shine......

The patterned papers I used on these cards have since sold out, but the Anna Marie Designs True Red dotty card is still available.

Thanks for looking, I'll be back soon.

Diamond Trees Clock

Happy Thursday to you Bloggers,

The weather has certainly taken a down turn now hasn't it...
How are your Christmas preparations coming along?

Today I have another wintery theme clock to share,
the background for this uses Imagination Crafts Fir Trees card.

The key to making these clocks is the composition, allowing for the center hole and any numeral placement.
For the main numeral "digits" on this clock I used some clear dew drop type embellishments.
The printed background and stenciling make this a very straight forward project which gives quite a striking result.

Once again I do hope you like this inspiration.
Have a lovely day, as always we love to read any comments you leave, thank you kindly.
