**This is a Magnificent Men promotion post. Remember to leave a comment to be entered in the giveaway.**
Hello crafters, Kirsten here again. After yesterday’s long post, I’d like to show you a quick & easy card.
The base layers are, from the bottom, a 7x7 white card blank, kraft card, black card & patterned papers from the Woodware Vintage Prints 1 6x6 paper pad.
I painted a piece of the Anna Marie Designs die cut trellis card with black paint, then added
Light Copper Sparkle Medium to it & used Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear glue to stick it to the base papers.
The image & sentiment are from the HobbyArt Butterfly Kisses Nautical stamp set. I stamped the image with Cocoa Versacolor ink & die cut with a Spellbinder’s labels die, stamped it again in
Rose Red Versacolor & cut out just the sails, which were glued on top of the original image. This is a lovely collaged image, but it looked quite busy against the rest of the card, so I drew a border with a fine liner black pen & matted it on black card.
I stamped the quote with Black Versacolor & added embellishments in the shape of a
Crafts Too circular slider buckle, cogs, brads, string & black adhesive pearls.
This is my final post of the promotion fortnight, but there are still posts to come from Lisa, Georgina & Suzanne, so remember to keep commenting. I'll be back next week. Until then, happy crafting.
