Good Morning Bloggers,
How are we all today?
Today I thought I would show you another card that I made using the Old Crock Stamp from Hobby Art.......
Remember this post is part of the two weeks Magnificent Men promotion, so don't forget to leave a comment.
Entering is simple; you need to leave a comment on EVERY blog post in the next two weeks from May 5th to the final post on May 18th ........
Look at the stash you could win:
Well, with out further ado, here's my card........
I used a cog embossing folder out of my stash to create the panel in the background and then used a distress tool to add some Antique Linen and Stormy Sky ink over the top......I matted and layered it on to some brown card and wrapped some cord around it.....
For the main image I stamped the car in Vintage Sepia Versafine and embossed it with Clear Wow Powder. I used the same two distress inks and added some colour by sponging through the Glitz Craft Hex Bubble Stencil on opposite corners........
I then cut the image up to create a sort of brick background and then matted and layered it and cut around it......
For the cut away panels I used a clock folder from my stash and embossed it using brown card......
I then used a Clear Emboss Pad to ink over the top of it and then added some Stamp'n' Bond and heated it. Then I placed some Gold Transferable Foil on top rubbed it with some dry kitchen roll and then pulled it away. If you have not had a go at this it is great fun and gives a fantastic effect........
I sold out of the Stamp'n' Bond at the class but it will be back in soon.......
Lastly for the wording I used a Craftwork Card Typed Stamp set and stamped again with Clear Emboss ink, put the Stamp and Bond powder on and heated it, then foiled it and cut out the letters before matting and layering them and adding them to the card......
I do hope that you like the inspiration, I will be back on Wednesday with another post......
Remember to leave your comment to enter the giveaway,
Big hugs

The mosaic effect is lovely (if only I could cut & glue straight....) and I love the embossing and foiling.

ReplyDeleteReally effective card. I love it. I keep looking for the Old Crock stamp set as it would be perfect for my husband's birthday card as well as Father's Day. Will try the 'brick technique' while I'm waiting! Thank you, Jan
