*This is the FINAL butterflies & flowers promotion post. Remember to leave a comment to be entered in the giveaway.*
Hello crafters, Kirsten here to show you a splattery, inky, stencilled card................
I used a negative of the large butterfly die cut to apply Picked Raspberry distress ink onto a piece of watercolour card..........
Next, I mixed distress inks with water on my blending mat & used a paintbrush to make splodges & drips on the watercolour card...............
This was followed by applying Jet Black Stazon ink through some stencils;
(6x6" stencils)
I die cut the large butterfly using black card & glued it over the pink one.............
I made a flower by die cutting some circles out of pink vellum, then folded them over & cut into them to make petals & secured all the circles with a brad. The greeting is from the Woodware Clear Magic Mini Flowers stamp set & everything was matted & layered onto black & pink cards, then onto a 7x7 card blank. I finished by adding some dots with a white pen to the splodges &
splatters of Sunshine Satin Silkies...............
NB The butterfly dies sold out at the August class, but they can be ordered from Lisa. Phone her on 01622 675078, or send her an email; lisabaker1@btinternet.com
Thanks for looking. Don't forget the current blog challenge, it's all about flowers & butterflies too. I will return some time tomorrow with the winner of the butterflies & flowers giveaway.
