Extravaganza Day 2016

Hi everyone, we finally got all the photos from last Saturday's Craft Extravaganza Day uploaded & edited - there were HUNDREDS! :-) It was a very busy and enjoyable day. Thank you very much to everyone who joined us. Lots of photos in this long blog post, but not many words............

And the participants in Jenny's Hobby Art workshop got to make one of these cards, using the new Busy Bees stamp set.............

And so, another Extravaganza Day came to an end. Thank you again to everyone who joined us, it was lovely to see so many familiar faces and to meet lots of new people too.

 Enormous thanks to Georgina Ford, Jenny Mayes and Sue & Harvey for giving up their Saturday to be with us, thank you for agreeing to do workshops, everyone who took part had a great time.

To Paul, Kate, Jan, Rose, Jo, Martina, Julie, Donna & Geoff; thank you SO MUCH for all your help.

Next on the agenda is the August class, on Friday, August 5, in Fant Hall, Maidstone.

 There are a few spaces available in both classes; 2.30-5.30 and 6.30-9.30. To book, contact Lisa on 01622 675078/lisabaker1@btinternet.com The cost is £16 and a £6 deposit will secure your place.

The mobile shop will be open from 2.30 to 9.30, so feel free to pop in, even if you're not doing a class.

Extravaganza Day Tomorrow!!!

Hello everyone! I hope you've had a great week. Just a quick blog post from me, the night before my annual Craft Extravaganza Day in Fant Hall, Maidstone Kent. It's been a hectic few weeks, getting everything prepared, but I think we're there. 

The vans are loaded, the food is prepared, the samples are made and almost every item on the numerous to-do lists has been crossed off.

Kirsten & I have made lots of samples with some new products. Some in particular, I am VERY excited about demoing for you.

The SALE crates are groaning under the weight of all the products I have added to them. I think I have added 40 - 50% of my stock to the SALE, so if you're looking for a bargain, Fant Hall is the place to be tomorrow.

I am very excited about tomorrow's three workshops and very grateful to Sue Baker of Imagination Crafts, Jenny Mayes of Hobby Art and Georgina Ford of Designs by Georgina, for offering to demo most of the day AND do a workshop.

There are a very few places left for these workshops. They cost £6 each, which is non-refundable and you can book with us at Fant Hall tomorrow morning.

A Look Back at the June Class in Maidstone

Hello everyone, Kirsten here, I hope you've had a lovely weekend. Sorry this post wasn't published earlier, I was at a workshop yesterday & today was such a warm, sunny day that I spent it working in my garden. Without further ado, here are a few photos from last Friday's classes in Fant Hall, Maidstone.............

There were lots of new products on the promotion tables, including the eight new colours of Starlights paints & a selection of Imagination Crafts' beautiful rice papers..............

There were a number of sell outs & only limited quantities of other products remain. The website will be updated throughout tomorrow. 

Everyone who attended the classes had their choice of a bottle, or MDF box to decorate, or two cards to make, using the rice papers & chalk paints, among other items.

Those who chose to make cards all made the same two, which you will see in Lisa's blog post on Wednesday.

 As always, I can't remember who decorated each bottle & box, but I think these boxes were decorated by Lisa Ingram & Gill Durrant............

There won't be a July class, due to the Craft Extravaganza Day on July 23. 

During the event day, there will be one-hour workshops, taught by Jenny Mayes of Hobby Art, Georgina Sweetenham of Designs by Georgina & Sue Baker of Imagination Crafts. 

Places for each workshop will be £6, are limited to twelve & must be booked in advance. We will post photos of the workshops' projects here & on the Lisa B Designs Facebook page as soon as we have them, but you can book from now, either by telephoning Lisa on 01622 675078, or email; lisabaker1@btinternet.com
