Decorative Background

Morning all,

hope you're having a good week, it's certainly been a lot colder, luckily the snow near us cleared quickly.

So today I've used the Hobby Art Decorative Background clear stamp set

and done just that!...

 

Created my own background for an any occasion card.

 

I cut a 13cm square white stamping card and stamped the lined linen look background element using 

Versacolour Orange ink pad.

The Swirly elements were stamped using Versacolour Rose Red.

I rounded the corners of this card using the Regular corner punch.

I had a piece of red nylon/ribbon in my stash so I attached this using tape on the back of the card.

Then I used a 1 1/2 inch punch to cut the circle and stamped the firework element in orange.

This was glued in place.

I matted this layer onto a 14cm piece of orange card, rounding off the corners again.

The whole thing is mounted onto a 15cm card and a few red gems stuck on finished this design.

Hope you like this, I really enjoyed using these elements in this way.

Happy New Year

Good morning and Happy New Year 

The following card is made with the 

Imagination Decoupage clear stamp set - Crocus available HERE

(currently 25% off)

Using Onyx Black Versafine, I stamped the background direct on to a 

Craftwork Card straight edge 119x119mm card blank 

I then stamped the large image on to some smooth white Neenah Card and also onto some

pastel green gingham paper from the 

Craftwork Cards Macaroon Paper Pack (currently 10% off)

I cut out the gingham crocus flowers and attached them to the Neenah card 

with Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear glue

I used different shades of green Promarkers to colour the background, the leaves and to shade the edges of the crocus flowers 

Using Woodware Fingerlift tape and Woodware Mounting Foam Tape

I matted and layered the pieces together

I finished off with Stickles Star Dust and a Craftwork Card Sentiment

Robin and Friends....

Good morning everyone

This week I've used some stamps from Hobby Art which are the 

rubber stamp called Snow Globe available HERE and 

clear 'Scene It' stamp set called Robin and Friends available HERE

I started by using Versafine Black Onyx to stamp the Snow Globe on to

some Neenah Card.  I chose two robins from the Scene It Robin and Friends stamp set 

and stamped them inside the globe

I then stamped the robins on to some left over spotty paper and cut out the 

scarves to paper piece on to the image

For colour I used Promarkers and I used a fine liner to 

draw a squiggly line around the edge

For sparkle I used Xmas Red, Holly and Star Dust Stickles glitter glue

I finished off with some red ribbon and matted and layered on to some

green and red bazzil card stock and a Craftwork Cards 119x119mm straight edge card

More Jolly Holly...

Hi everyone

Here is my second card with the 

Woodware Clear Magic Jolly Holly stamp

available HERE

I used black onyx Versafine to stamp the image on to Neenah Card

You will see that I have also stamped some extra random swirls and holly leaves to the left of the bauble to build up the picture a little

I used Promarkers to colour

I then matted and layered with some black core'dinations gemstones

cardstock and some blue and white paper from my stash on to a

Craftwork Card 148x148mm straight edge card

I finished off with blue Hobby House Rhinestones and

 Stickles Silver and Star Dust Glitter Glue

Hobby Art Christmas stamp

Hi there bloggers

This week I've used the Hobby Art

Partridge in a Pear Tree stamp

available HERE

I've used Black Onyx Versafine to stamp the images on to Neenah Card

 and Promarkers to colour

The black and white background is one of the stamps in the pack which I have used 

in a random pattern with a little bit of Black Soot Distress Ink around the edge

of a 119x119mm straight edge Craftwork Card blank

I finished off by matting and layering with some black card and

applying lots of Stickles Star Dust glitter glue

More Partridge in a Pear Tree to come....

Huge Snow....

Hi there bloggers,

Lisa B has now taken ownership of some new Christmas stock in readiness for her 

Christmas Workshop today at 

Fant Hall, Barming, Maidstone

The shop will be open between 2.30 and 9.30pm for anyone who would like to pop in and browse

She quickly handed me the Woodware Clear Magic Snow stamp straight out of the box, so

here is my first card...

I started with a Craftwork Cards 148mmx148mm card blank and used

silver mirri card and papers from the Joy Craft paper pad called Winter Paper Bloc 

to mat, layer, paper piece and die cut the poinsettia

I stamped the word Snow using Versafine Black Onyx and cut out the word

Having attached it to a contrasting paper using Cosmic Shimmer dries clear glue  

I then stamped the 'O' on to a piece of white Neenah Card and cut it out

To finish off,  I used Black Diamond and Star Dust Stickles glitter glue, some Hobby House blue gems and a button.
