A gift for you

Hi! As it's Thursday again it's Georgina here with my regular Thursday post.
I have a Christmas card to share with you today using a cute topper from the Hobby House Eskimo Kisses topper sheet available from Lisa B. Designs.

To make this card, I cut a panel 13.5 x 14cm of Sailor Check patterned paper. I rounded the two right hand corners with a punch before adding it to a 14.8 x 14.8cm scallop edge card blank. I chose the sweet little girl topper for my card. I attached the topper to the card and added faux stitching around the edge with a black fineliner.

To create the flower I used Xmas Flower cutting and embossing dies. The card I used to cut the flower and leaves from was the pink card sheets from the Pastel mixed double-sided premium pearlescent card. I coloured the card with Darn Boor and Forest Moss Distress Ink pads. I added the ink with a Blending Tool. I added the flower to the card and then added a gold gem to the centre. I added glitter to the edges of the flower.

I added white Card Candi to the corners of the card. I then added glitter to the Candi. The circle sentiment is from Hobby Art's Winter Wishes stamp set. I stamped this with Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. To finish the card I added various coloured Stickles and glitter.

Winter white

Hi! It's Georgina with my Thursday post. Today I have a white card to share with you. I have used the lovely Xmas Flower cutting die to create the flower and leaves.

I started by creating the card blank. For this I used two leaf embossed scalloped square. These embossed squares are available from Lisa's mobile shop on workshop days along with a lot of other new items. I scored one of the squares as shown below.

I then attached double sides tape along the edge of the scored square and attached the two squares together as show below.

I cut a selection of Xmas Flower and leaves from white card.

I added all the layers of the flower together before attached to the card blank. I added a gem to the centre of the flower.

To finish the card I added a die cut sentiment and Stickles around the edge of the card, flower and leaves.

Xmas Flowers

Hi! It's Thursday again so it's me Georgina with my weekly blog post. Today I have a Christmas card for you made with the lovely Xmas Flower dies available from Lisa B. Designs.

To make this card I started with a Kraft card blank. I used Frayed Burlap and Walnut Stain Distress Inks with a Blending Tool to distress the edges of the card.  I then used Frayed Burlap Distress Ink pad to stamp the text background over the top of the card. I stamped the black sentiment with a Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. I added a strip of ribbon and Card Candi to the card also available from Lisa B. Designs.

I used the lovely Xmas Flowers dies to cut the flowers and leaves. I used three different shades of red card to cut the flowers from. I used three flower dies cuts for each flower head, as shown below. I cut the flower centres from gold card.

Once I had cut the leaves, from green card, and made the flowers I added then to the card.  To finish I added Gold Stickles to the centre of the flowers and Stardust Stickles to the flowers.
