Monochromatic Moment.......

Good morning bloggers,

Is that a bit of sunshine I see out there or wishful thinking?......

Today I have some more of my Imagination Crafts samples to share with you from the Create and Craft weekender and I promise that I will do a tutorial on this blog next week to show you how to create the little petal flowers, like I did on the show on the Sunday as a lot of you said that you missed it or want to see it again.....no prob's I can do a picture tutorial.
The mini petal stencils will be in stock next week as well and I will get them on the website......

When I was making the samples for the show I had a monochromatic day and as you have already seen on Wednesdays Blog Post I made a black and white wedding card using the Mini Petal and Bride Stencil.

This was another card that I made using the Tile Verona Dimensional Stencil Set and Silver Sparkle Medium.....

(Apologies the picture is slightly blurred but it is the only one of the whole card but you get the idea!)

I love the way that you can cut away the layers and build up the dimension .....

Or if you don't want it to be as raised then what I have done with this next card is to dry emboss the stencil on to a piece of Black Silk Card and then use Silver Sparkle Medium on to another piece of Black Silk Card and cut away the border and the centre and then layer on top. Then I dry embossed the small stencil in black too and added a Craftwork Cards Message on top of it......

I hope that you can see that in the close up.....

Although it is the same stencil for both cards it really gives a totally different look don't you think?

For the next one, I used the Butterfly with Love stencil ( one of my favourites that will be on the website next week) ......I used parts of the stencil to create the background using  Black Stars Sparkle Medium and Diamond White Sparkle Medium very lightly through the stencil to give a subtle look....

I then used the Silver sparkle medium on to Acetate and cut out the butterfly when it was dry and 3D'd it.

I also added a strip of Silver Diamond Mesh down the side of the card.....

I love making Acetate butterflies with the Sparkle Medium with this stencil.....
