Hi crafters, not long to go now :o)
Todays card in another take on the texture we created at the work shop, this time I've incorporated a bit of stamping with Lisa's lovely stamps and some die cuts.
So firstly I used my usual 7 x 7 card and stamped it using the Imagination Craft Collage Clematis stamp set of Lisa's and Versamark then embossed it using Wow bright white embossing powder.
Then distressed it all using Milled Lavender, I polished it all up after to create the resist technique.
Left that to one side to concentrate on the centre of the card. I cut a piece of white card to 4 x 4 and cut the corners off. I stamped one of the clematis using any ink then layered it up on to about 3 pieces of paper then cut around to create a raised embellishment. I did the same with two punches, a handbag and shoes, the top layer was some coordination's card stock for texture. I then took one of the lovely black silhouette die cuts Lisa has in the shop and layered three of them together, a forth one I run through an embossing folder again for texture. I had some butterfly embellishments in my stash and put a layer of embossed paper on top and cut around them and smoothed the sides with a nail file :o) I stuck them all to the white card.
Next step, I painted the White Gesso background and left to dry for about half hour or so.
I then began with the colour, Inka Golds are excellent for this technique, however I did use Imagination Craft Silkies too. I completely covered the clematis in the lilac but then decided I wanted it white, so stamped another onto white card, shaped it and glued it onto the top to give height and texture.
Here are all the elements:
I mounted it all onto the background card, dressed it with a few gems and here's the finished card again.
Hope you enjoyed that and thanks for dropping by again today.
Love Jan -x-
