Tropical Butterflies........

*This is a BUTTERFLIES & FLOWERS promotion post. Remember to leave a comment to be entered in the giveaway.*

Morning all Happy Saturday.........

I thought that I would show you today another sample that I made for the class on the theme of butterflies and flowers.........

For this card I used the gorgeous Penny Black Slapstick stamp Breezy, now I have to say I love slapstick stamps as they stamp out so well and you never loose any of the high detail on them. I used Vintage Sepia Versafine ink pad and repeatedly stamped it on to a sheet of the Teresa Collins Paper pad ( I love this pad for stamping on as it has so many tiny designs on the papers ) and then embossed it with Wow Sparkle Powder.......

I used the Cheery Lynn Butterflies dies and used a little Tea Dye Distress Ink on the edges of the butterflies and then embossed them with the clear sparkle again. The tiny flowers were a punch from my stash and then I added a tiny dot of stickles in the centre of them.......

A little closer look at the sparkle.......

Well that is all from me for now, have a great weekend and I will be back soon......

Big hugs Lisa.B.xx

  2. Stunning card! Love how you've coloured the edges of the butterfly wings. I'd never think of using these colours on a butterfly card, but it's beautiful! x

  4. I don't normally do brown shades but this is gorgeous Lisa and shows that stamps off beautifully! I love slapstick stamps because they take a lot less space and if I can make it look like I have less stamps than I do have then I'm a happy bunny and DH isn't any wiser lol! Thanks for sharing this beauty with us Karen x

  5. Slapstick is new to me too. Fab stamp, and your card is superb. The addition of those tiny flowers is very clever.
