I spent a wonderful week in Spain & now it's time to start preparing for Christmas. We've been updating the Christmas section of the website;

with new items, including some of the Festive Collection cutting dies by Sue Wilson & new Christmas stamps from Card-io Combinations, Hobby Art & Stampendous............

All of the older Christmas stamps, cutting dies & embossing folders have been reduced in price, so take a look if you fancy a bargain, or two.

Other new items include these pots of  Fran-tage glitter & mica mixes & pots of clear micro beads from Creative Expressions............

These are great for adding sparkle & texture to your projects.

All the new items can be found in the What's New section on the website:

The gorgeous Starlights metallic paints from Imagination Crafts were a huge hit at September's class & I will have restocks very soon.
The October classes will take place this coming Friday, October 2, in Fant Hall, Maidstone,
ME16 8NN. This month we will be making Christmas cards, using

Card-io Combinations stamps to create a Christmas scene.

Dylusioned Birds on a Tando Printer Tray

Good morning blog visitors, hope you had a great weekend. Anyone get up at 2am to see the Supermoon?? This is my final blog post for September & I have two projects to show you, made with Dylusions paints...................

I began the first background by brayering Squeezed Orange & Lemon Zest Dylusions onto
Super Smooth white card, then added White Linen Dylusions through the Imagination Crafts
Honeycomb stencil...............

The next layers were; Fresh Lime Dylusions through the IC Bubble Background stencil, Grape Crush Dylusions through the IC Leaf Swirl stencil & accents of Rich Gold Starlights paint with stamps from the Hobby Art Decorative Backgrounds stamp set................

The second background was simply leftover paint, swiped onto another piece of Super Smooth with  mini blending foams.........

I painted the mini Tando Creative printer tray with gold Starlights & glued the pieces, together with  pieces of the masterboards, with Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue

I stamped the Hobby Art Birds on Wire stamp with Onyx Black Versafine, heat set with
WOW Clear Gloss embossing powder, painted them with Grape Crush & Fresh Lime Dylusions & cut them out. After attaching them to the printer tray, I covered them with Glossy Accents.............

I made a card with more pieces of the backgrounds, ussing the Floral Collage Rose Elements stamp set, designed by Lisa B for Imagination Crafts.........

Dylusions & Flowers

Hi there crafters, sorry but it's a brief blog from me too this week, very hectic at home and work.
So today's card is using the Dylusions as a Master Board and paper piercing some stamped flowers.

So to create the Master Board using Super Smooth card and I done the normal corner, corner, side technique using the Dylusions Postbox Red and Lemon Zest then toned it all down by brayering some White Linen all over the card.  I then used the Imagination Craft Diamond Stencil and The Crafters Workshop Mini Tiny Circles.  I wanted to use the new Hickory Smoke Distress Ink so used it to stamp the Indigo Blu Ink Splats onto the master board.  Then finished off with Imaginations Crafts Platinum Starlight's using  the new tools on the block, spritzer bottle cap and Blood Donor Card :o)

I used a 7" x 7" card and flat matted some masterboard onto some black card.  Then using the Woodware Spring Flowers Stamp,  lined it up where I wanted it to go knowing that if I stamped on the matted card it wouldn't fully stamp onto the base card properly.  So I stamped up with the Stazon and pressed down as best I could to get a good image, I wasn't too worried at this point as I knew I was going to stamp the image again onto the master board and cut the flowers out and glue them in place, which I did.  So after cutting out the flowers and the buds I stuck them on using the Cosmic Shimmer Glue, I thought it all looked a bit flat so I added some Glossy Accents to lift it.  I must say at this point I was very pleased with the result, as you can see in the close up below the Glossy Accents highlighted the Platinum Starlight to their maximum effect, (happy accident).

I stamped a few splats around the base card and using the Card-io Combinations Collection I stamped a small sentiment to finish it off.

Again sorry it's brief but I hope you enjoyed it and see you again next Friday.

Love Jan -x-
