Beautiful Butterflies......

*This post is part of the January promotion fortnight. Remember to leave a comment to be entered in the giveaway.*

Morning all,
have you popped over and checked out the MEGA SALE yet? There are loads of great items at amazing prices, check it out HERE......

As we are still in the Hobby Art promotion fortnight I thought that I would show you a make today that I made for Hobby Art using one of my favourite stamp sets Butterflies:

http://www.lisabdesigns.co.uk/butterflies-p-2087.html?cPath=292

I really love this set as I love butterflies anyway but out of all the butterfly sets that I own, this has to be among my top three and remember for one month they are on offer on the website with 30% off HERE. It is just so versatile with all the different sizes and styles and I love the collage message....

Now on to the make.....

The is a card that I made and I combined the butterflies set with the Silhouette Grasses stamp:

I wanted a fresh clean look for the card so I took a piece of white super smooth card. I took two of the larger butterflies from the set, and stamped them on a piece of Mask It Film to make a couple of masks, I then cut them out.....
I then sized up the size of the Silhouette Stamp on the white card and then stamped the smaller butterfly to the top right and the larger one to the bottom left, added the masks and then stamped the Silhouette Grasses stamp over the top of the butterflies. I removed the masks and added another larger butterfly to the bottom right. I also stamped a smaller butterfly and a small silhouette butterfly above the grasses. All of the images were stamped in  Black Onyx and then heat embossed using Wow Clear Sparkle Powder for a little sparkle.......

I then used a pencil and ruler to mark out a square around the grasses and then cut out the square going around all the other images that the line met. I then cut a couple of matting layers for the square in blue card and then black. Using Pro-Markers I added some colour to the images....

For the background of the card I used  a border strip of Anna Marie Designs Powder Blue Dottie Card and matted and layered it on to blue and black card to make a vertical border.
I also stamped and embossed the lovely collage message from the butterfly set on to the card at the top right and then attached my image........

I hope that you have enjoyed my make and I will be back on Saturday with more inspiration using the Butterfly set......

Hugs Lisa B xx
