A Little Birdhouse

Good morning, happy Friday, Here's my Hobby Art card for today.................

 

 

 

The background is Imagination Crafts' Inkadinks mixed with a little water & dripped onto wet watercolour card. I dried it with my heat tool & then splattered a mix of Royal Satin Silkies & water on top. As I did so, I realised that the centre of the card was still wet & the Silkies sank into the background. I liked the effect, so spritzed the watercolour card with water, splattered on more Silkies & then set the card aside to dry on its own.................

 

 

 

When it was thoroughly dry I mixed Gold Brocade Silkies with water & splattered that on of the previous layers...........

 

 

 

I cut a piece of white card with the Cheery Lynn Chickenwire Frame die, stamped the 

Hobby Art Floral Birdhouse stamp onto more white card, heat set it with clear embossing powder & cut it out. I made a little tag & stamped it with a sentiment from the Anna's Collection - Just For You HA stamp set.

The Cherry Lynn die is approximately 11x11cm, so I cut & scored a top folding card of approximately 12x14.5cm..............
