Sunflowers on a Grey Day

*This post is part of the January promotion fortnight. Remember to leave a comment to be entered

Good morning, Kirsten here.  I used the Hobby Art Sunflowers stamp set for today's card & once again, it couldn't be simpler...........

I mixed Mango Inkadinks with gold mica powder & water in a mini spray bottle & spritzed two pieces of watercolour card..............

When they were dry I stamped one piece with the single sunflower, cutting off a piece for the sentiment, (from HA Anna's Collection - Just For You) & the other with the sunflower head, using Onyx Black Versafine ink & heat setting with clear embossing powder...............

I edged the watercolour card with a gold Krylon pen & backed each piece with black card........

I used kraft card, black card & orange core'dinations card for matting & layering, stuck everything to a 7x7 white card blank & added adhesive pearls.

If you want to enter the giveaway all the details can be found by clicking the link at the top of this post. And don't want to visit the Lisa B Designs website, where the MEGA SALE is in full swing - items are being added most days, so it's well worth keeping an eye on.

And finally, Lisa has started a blog to showcase the projects she creates that aren't connected to the business. If you want to see what she's up to, you'll find her at No Creative Boundaries.

See you next time.

  2. I love how you've done the spray background. The sunflowers look lovely left plain, without being coloured in. xx
