White Picket Fence

Morning, I hope everyone's having a nice weekend. Here's my Hobby Art-themed card for today........

 

 

 

 

I used stamps from four different HA sets; Floral Birdhouse, Nesting,

Anna's Collection - Just For You & Sunflowers -  all Hobby Art stamps are presently on special offer on the website, with 30% off  the regular stamps & 40% off the Christmas stamps.

 

The patterned card is Anna Marie Designs Powder Blue Dottie card, with another piece for matting & layering with Citrine plain card.

 

I used the Cheery Lynn Chickenwire Frame die to cut a piece of white card, then cut into the die cut.....

 

 

 

 

I wanted lots of white & only pale colours on this card, so I used watercolour pencils to colour the birds & the flowers & leaves on the Nesting image - I also cut off the nest.

 

I used the tiny fence from the Sunflowers set & repeat stamped it onto white card with Onyx Black Versafine ink before cutting it out. I wrapped the ends around the back of the layers of cardstock, so that the front of the fence is curved, not flat..........

 

 

 

 

I finished the card with a piece of yellow seam binding ribbon & a sentiment from the Anna's Collection - Just For You stamp set.
