Take Chances

Good morning, happy Tuesday.

*Today's projects were based on ones I saw somewhere & when I can find the originals I will edit this post with the information.*

This was a practice piece I made when Lisa asked me to make samples using the
Imagination Crafts crackle medium, (it's CM & MS Summer Linen acrylic paint on
Anna Marie Designs black card) & I didn't want to waste it......

I put assorted colours of Martha Stewart acrylic paint onto the smaller of the two ink blending mats.......

I laid the card crackle side down onto the paint & moved it slightly, to smear the paint underneath. I lifted it off, turned it & laid it onto the paint again. I also spritzed water onto the card to get some of the paint to drip a little. I used as much of the paint as I could, before it got too dry on the blending mat...............

Here you can see the texture of the paint as well as the crackle effect..............

I began stamping with the Hobby Art Decorative Backgrounds stamp set, using both Versafine & Stazon black inks........

I used less pressure when stamping with the Stazon ink so that some of the stamping would be a little faded...........

When I'd finished stamping I made holes around the outside with my Tim Holtz ruler & a pokey tool & added 'stitching' with a fine liner pen........

I stamped the Woodware Clear Magic mini flower onto scrap card, cut it out & glued it on with Cosmic Shimmer glue..........

With the pieces of card I had left I made a bookmark tag, punching out circles from the smallest piece............

The finished card & tag.............
