Crackled Mirror

**This post is part of the Crackle Medium promotion fortnight. Remember to leave a comment to be entered in the giveaway.**

Good morning, it's me again. Can you believe we're past the halfway point in September already?? Today my project is a mirror to show you how well Imagination Crafts' Crackle Medium works on wood. (If you missed my explanation of crackle mediums, you'll find it HERE.)

This is a mirror from that well known Swedish store. Lisa has them for sale at her monthly workshops. I firstly painted it with a few coats of Martha Stewart Sea Lavender & Blue Sky acrylic paints, then applied the crackle medium..........

I didn't apply enough CM the first time.................

So I applied more & got a wonderful mix of cracks..........

I stamped the Woodware Clear Magic Delicate Daisies stamp with Onyx Black Versafine, heat set with clear EP & coloured the flowers with  Promarkers. Because some of the cracks were quite big I wondered about the paint peeling off the wood, so I sealed it by bushing on a mixture of Indigo Blu Slap It On & water & leaving it to dry overnight..............
