Bits of Blue Crackle

**This is the final post of the Crackle Medium promotion fortnight. Remember to leave a comment by midnight tonight to be entered in the giveaway.**
Good morning, how's your weekend so far? Good, I hope. Today, I'd like to show you a card I made using just two small pieces of crackled card............
(If you missed my explanation of crackle medium you can find it HERE)

The flower & the circle were cut from a piece of patterned card, which I'd crackled with
Crackle Medium & painted with Martha Stewart Sea Lavender acrylic paint.........
I stamped it with Jet Black Stazon ink, using the script stamp from the Hobby Art
Decorative Backgrounds stamp set. I didn't want a clear result, so I didn't apply a lot of ink to the stamp & I didn't put much pressure on it while stamping.....
I made a vellum tag & glued a button to it with Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear glue...........
I mixed a little Bronze Brocade Silkies with water & splattered it onto a 7x7 card blank........

The Woodware Clear Magic mini flower was stamped with embossing ink & heat set with bright white EP.........
I glued a leftover piece of Anna Marie Designs dottie card near the top of the card & used a mini stapler to attach the baker's twine to it, then I finished the card with a punched out strip of vellum, some adhesive pearls & a Craftwork Cards greeting..........

Don't forget to leave your comment on this post, I will post the winner of the giveaway some time tomorrow.

  1. Love the lightness of touch in this one, every little detail - vellum, splatter, staples- giving lots of interest in a fairly CAS card.

  2. I love the crackle medium. The class inspired me to have a go at home. Thank you for the reminder of the instructions.

  3. Love this card, I really like the small areas of crackle, adding great details to a clean and fresh card. Thanks for all the inspiration on crackle.x

  4. Love this and shows that you don't have to crackle everything. Just a little touch and you can have an elegant card.

  5. Goes to show that you don't need much to make a pretty card :-)

We'd love to know what you think, so please feel free to leave a comment. Every one is greatly appreciated.
