Festive Swirls

Hi! It's Georgina with my regular Thursday blog post.

Today I have three Christmas cards to share with you using lovely cream pastel double sided premium pearlescent card and Swirls-1 embossing folder.
The pearlescent card comes in a pack of five different colours. There are two A4 sheets of each colour in a pack.

This is my first card for today. The card blank I used was a Craftwork Cards 148x148mm card blank available from Lisa B. Designs. I embossed a piece of cream pearlescent card using the Swirls-1 embossing folder. I coloured this and the card blank with a Blending Tool and Forest Moss Distress Ink pad.

I used the large Christmas wording stamp from Hobby Art's Winter Wishes stamp set to stamp onto the background of the card with the Forest Moss Distress Ink pad.

I stamped the large Christmas wording stamp again onto the cream pearlescent card. I attached this, the swirl embossed piece of card and cream and coloured card onto the card blank. I had coloured the card with Forest Moss Distress Ink pad.

I stamped the holly from Hobby Art's Robin & Friends stamps set with the Forest Moss Distress Ink pad. This stamp set is also available from Lisa B. Designs. I used the ink pad to colour the holly leaves.

To finish the card I added Xmas Red Stickles for the holly berries and Glitter Magic glitter. The glitter is available from Lisa's mobile shop at her Workshops.

For my second card I cut an A4 sheet of cream pearlescent card length-ways. I scored these then in half to form two card blanks. I stamped Walnut Stain Distress ink onto the de-bossed side of the Swirls-1 embossing folder and then embossed the card through my Cuttlebug. This then lightly coloured and embossed the card blank.

I stamped the large Christmas wording stamp with Walnut Stain Distress ink pad onto cream card. I mounted this onto another piece of cream card which I had coloured with the Walnut Stain ink pad.

I cut three snowflakes using the Ice Crystal 2 cutting die. I added these to the card. To finish I added Glitter Magic glitter.

For my final card today I used the other card blank I had made from cream pearlescent card. I embossed the bottom section only with the Swirls-1 embossing folder. I stamped the large Christmas wording stamp with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink pad.

I cut a strip the same width as the card. Onto this I added a strip of dark red ribbon and a bow. To finish I added Glitter Magic glitter onto the ribbon and swirls.
