May Class Review

Good afternoon, happy Saturday. It seems only last week when we were in Maidstone for Lisa's April classes, but yesterday it was time for her May classes & the eagerly awaited Lisa B Designs launch of her brand new stamp sets for Imagination Crafts.

Here are two of Lisa's class samples that the ladies used as their inspiration................

The cases were based around the positive & the negative of the stamps, Imagination crafts stencil paint & stencils & Versacolor inks.

Lisa will be telling you about these samples & more in her upcoming blog posts.

There was plenty of time for shopping of course............

Brusho Crystal Colours & Brusho shimmer sprays were back in stock...........

Lisa's stamps set.............!!!

I'm delighted to say they were a big hit with everyone.

Lots of new stencils..........

Lots of new MDF products, including a selection from Candy Box Crafts..........

The Imagination Crafts wall plaques that were such a success on Create & Craft recently. There are a few of these left, but they won't be on the website until Monday, so if you want one, please email Lisa asap - lisabaker1@btinternet.com..............

Our trusty class photographer, Jan, wasn't able to be with us yesterday - we missed you Jan! - so we didn't get time to take photos of the ladies at work. I managed to get this of Trish with one of her lovely cards...........

Here's a small selection of the finished cards..........

They're all so pretty. Everyone used bright colours - must be the influence of Spring. :)

Fab sparkly embossing powder on these cards..............

If you would like to see the rest, please visit the May Class albums on the Lisa B Designs Facebook page.

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday & a very warm welcome to the new ladies who joined us. The classes were very busy again, but we hope you enjoyed them & were happy with the new format of showing you the techniques. It seemed to work quite well, so I think we shall try to repeat it.

Thanks also must go to our lovely DT member, Karen Clare, who joined us yesterday, to Rosemary, Jo & Kate for their hard work all day & to Donna, who stayed to help us pack up everything.

June's class is all about Sweet Poppy stencils & dimensional pastes. Both classes are already heavily booked - one place left in the afternoon class, I think - so email Lisa if you're interested in attending.

July's Inka Gold workshop now has very limited places, see this blog post for information & again contact Lisa if you would like to join us.

As I said above, items left over from yesterday will be put on the website on Monday, but do email Lisa over the weekend if you've seen something that you want, as I'm not sure of stock numbers at the moment.

The current Brusho blog challenge ends at midnight tonight & I will be back in the morning to announce the winner & launch the May challenge. Until then, have a great Saturday.

Kirsten
