How Do You Do, Miss Bennet?

*This is an Indigo Blu promotion post. Remember to leave a comment to be entered in the giveaway.*

Happy Tuesday, here I am to show you one of my Indigo Blu samples. I used the 'Elizabeth Bennet' stamp on all of my samples & because it's very detailed image I kept my cards quite simple.

I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade mini distress inks after stamping the image in
Onyx Black Versafine & heat setting with WOW Clear Gloss embossing powder - I masked of the face first. Then I used Salty Ocean DI through the TCW Chickenwire Reversed stencil to break up the white space slightly. I added the scribbled line with a fine liner pen & added the ribbon from my stash.

I stamped the flourish from the 'Discover Your Passion' stamp set directly onto the 7x7 card blank, then covered most of it with the sentiment & the focal image. That way it connects with the focal image, but doesn't detract from it.

Now to some blog housekeeping........

There are some temporary changes happening to the blog at present. Due to work commitments, Suzanne is unable to do any DT work & Georgina is taking a summer break to spend time with her family. As a result, Lisa & I will be trying to cover as many days as we can on the blog, especially during the promotion fortnights. (Yes, you will be seeing a lot more of me, sorry about that). We do have a new DT member coming on board, but we don't yet have a start date for her. We will introduce her as soon as we do know. In the meantime, keep commenting, don't forget about the
new blog challenge & I will be back later in the week.
