Time to Celebrate

Good morning, Kirsten here, I hope you had an enjoyable weekend - it was nice to have sunshine after all the rain a few days ago. My card today uses the new Take Time & Time to Celebrate  stamp sets, designed by Lisa for Imagination Crafts. It was one of those projects where I was just playing, then decided I liked what was happening, so there are no step by step photos...........

I made a very simple by braying Bronze Starlights on to white card & dry brushing Topaz Starlights on top, then I used the Sheena Douglass Cool Corrosion cutting die, to cut two sections & matted the square on to black card. ...........

I stamped elements from both Time stamp sets, as well as the Distress Textures 1 & 2 sets on to a piece of scrap card & on to a hand cut tag & distressed both. I stamped the fob watch from Time to Celebrate with Versamark ink & heat set with WOW! Metallic Rich Gold embossing powder, cut them out & applied a little Weathered Wood Distress ink. I painted the cogs with Rustique & Verdigris Rusty Patina. The die cut circle was on my desk so I decided to add it too..........

I liked how everything looked at this stage, so I added a sentiment from the Time to Celebrate set & attached everything to a 6x6 white card blank. I finished the card by adding Crackle Accents to the watch faces........
