Morning all,
What a busy time I have had in the last few days my feet have not touched the ground and I nearly forgot to do a blog post!!!
Well I thought I would show you some of the Card-io Majestic samples that I made for the class last Friday to inspire you to have a go at the challenge......
I first used these type of stamps many years ago now when they used to be known as Tapestry Stamps and loved playing around with them then and have since discovered them again through Card-io and the lovely Wendy who now own them and have brought out amazing new designs and other stamps to work with them. Once you get used to using them they can create the most amazing quick card in minutes. I thought I would show you first today the two cards that they made at Fridays work shop ( with a different bow on it ) .....
the first one that they made was using the Sketchy Spring Floral which is my favourite stamp because it has a negative and a positive ( iney and outy :-) in my words )......
I used Versa colour inks pads: Heliotrope, Sky Blue and Black with the Sketchy Spring Floral and Say it with Flowers stamps.
I also used one of Sue Wilson's new dies the Filigree Bow die which are all now in stock on the website......
And some of Anna-Marie's gorgeous dotty card in lilac........
Let me know what you think and don't forget if you want to win some Card-io goodies then leave a comment on each post
.
Here's a closer look.......
I finished off with some dots of silver stickles........
The second card they made was this lovely gate card......
I used a new Sizzix die that I had bought to die cut the cards. For this one I used the Card-io Majestic Dragonfly Garden stamps with versa colour inks: Turquoise, Bamboo and Heliotrope with the Say it with Flowers stamp again.......
A closer look.....
3rd and fourth generation stamping to cover the wording.......
Well that is about all from me for today, I will be back on Saturday with some more inspiration...
Remember join in the fun on the Blog challenge and give- aways and win some lovely crafting stash....
Big hugs Lisa.B.xx
These are lovely Lisa. My favourite would be the first one in purple but that's only because I love anything purple.

ReplyDeleteThese are really pretty cards-simple and clean looking! I must have a look at these stamps. I'm quite intrigued by the two of you saying that you have to get used to them! (I'm still getting used to everything!!) Thank you, Jan
ReplyDeleteLove your second card, that gate looks brilliant with the small flowers.
ReplyDeleteI loved making these cards at the class. My neighbour was delighted with the gate card for her birthday.
