Card-io Christmas Classes - The Review

Good afternoon, blog visitors. Kirsten here with my second post of the day, a review of Friday's Card-io Christmas classes in Maidstone.

There was the usual array of goodies to tempt everyone & LOTS of samples with the Card-io Combinations stamps. Lisa, Jan, Martina & I all agreed that we had really enjoyed using these stamps..................

By the end of the day, most of the stamp sets had sold. The rest are back on the website & Lisa will ordering more next week. They're likely to be popular, so if you would like to reserve some, send Lisa an email; lisabaker1@btinternet.com............

 Christmas cutting dies & stamps.............

Paints continue to be very popular, especially the Starlight Metallic Paints from Imagination Crafts - many thanks to Sue & Harvey for sending out the new order so quickly...........

We brought the older Christmas stock with us too. It's all on sale & proved very popular.............

Time to get to work. Lisa's in there somewhere, demoing the first card...........

There she is..............!!

The hall was a hive of actvity all afternoon.........

A few of the first card, made using Distress inks & the Woodland Walks set of Card-io stamps..........

After a brief break & a tidy up, it was time to do it all again in the evening class...........

The second card, made with Distress inks again & stamps from various Card-io sets...............

Before we knew it, the second class was over & it was time to pack everything away. Thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday, it was great to see you & we hope you enjoyed your day. If we inspired you to make more scenic Christmas cards, we would love to see them. You can upload photos to the Lisa B Designs Facebook page & you can also enter two projects into the new blog challenge - all the information can be found on the Challenge page.

I cannot end without thanking the fantastic team of Jo, Kate, Rose, Jan & Julie for their hard work throughout the day. Thank you also to Martina & Jan for their gorgeous Card-io samples, which the rest of you will see here on the blog in the next few weeks.  Thank you to Lisa's OH, Paul, who helps us unload & reload the van & to Donna, who stays behind each month to help us pack everything away.

With the ninth class of the year over, it's time to start thinking about the November & December classes. The projects are not finalised yet, but I can tell you that the November 6th class will be based on Starlights paints & you will need a brayer. There are a few places left in both the afternoon & the evening class.

We're also taking bookings for the Christmas Party classes on December 4th. These classes usually fill very quickly, so if you're interested in joining us for either a November or December class, please contact Lisa as soon as possible..............

I'm going to add the rest of Friday's card makes to an album on the Facebook page now, so if you would like to see more that's where they will be. Thanks for visiting the blog today, enjoy the rest of your weekend. I will be back tomorrow with the first of my Card-io card samples.
