Hello blog visitors, hope you're all well. I can't believe this is my third blog post of October already. I've got four cards to show you today, all made with the Card-io Combinations
Pointy Baubles set....................
Here I stamped the large bauble onto a piece of Winter Wishes patterned paper from Joy Crafts with Versamark embossing ink, covered it with WOW Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder & heat set. I stamped the snowman & rabbit from the Card-io Christmas Scenery 2 stamp set with Jet Black Stazon in the centre of the bauble. Then I painted around the outside of the snowman with Platinum Starlights paint from Imagination Crafts & when that was dry, applied
Glossy Accents on top...............
I strengthed the bauble by adhering it to a piece of kraft card & cutting that out. I finished the card by matting & layering with another piece of the patterned card, kraft card & black card onto a
7 x 7" white card blank, then using an embossing tool to apply dots of Platinum Starlights. The greeting is the Stampendous Retro Script Merry Christmas............
For the second card I used another piece of the Winter Wishes patterned paper & the smaller of the Pointy Baubles, stamping them directly onto the paper with Brown & Rose Red Versacolor inks, adding WOW Clear Sparkle embossing powder & heat setting.
I used the branches from the Card-io Tall Trees stamp set to give the baubles something to hang from & added the bird from the Card-io Christmas Scenery 1 set.................

The third card..............
I stamped the baubles on to a piece of 5.5 x 5.5" black card with Versamark, applied
WOW Metallic Silver embossing powder & heat set, then painted the centres with blue Starlights paint from imagination Crafts. I stamped the flowers onto scrap black card, heat setting with silver EP, cut them out & adhered them to the centre of the baubles............
For the fourth card I used the Lavinia Stamps Three Small Fairies & Star Cluster, added an acetate window to the back of the large bauble & filled it with Crystal Glitter & sequins...........
That's all from me for this week. Have a great one & I'll see you here next Monday. And don't forget to enter the blog challenge.

ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautifully shaped bauble, and I love the variations here - the first gold one is probably my favourite with that sweet snowman.
