Keep It Simple Sunday - Bright Poppies

Hello, I hope everyone's having a great weekend. This post was scheduled earlier in the week as Lisa & I are in Birmingham this weekend for the craft world's trade show at the NEC. We're hoping to find lots of new goodies with which to tempt you all.

My card today is so simple it barely counts as a technique, but I want to show you that you don't have to add lots of layers to make an effective card. And you can leave plenty of white space too............

All I did was apply Sunshine Yellow & Sunset Orange Adirondack inks (40% off) through the Blocks section of the Blocks & Curves stencil from Designs by Georgina onto Super Smooth white card & when that was dry I stamped the Poppy Pods by Lavinia Stamps with Onyx Black Versafine & heat set with WOW Clear Gloss EP. I coloured the open areas of the pods with a felt tip pen & added the sentiment from the Hobby Art stamp set
'Anna's Collection - Just For You'. Some matting & layering with black & citrine card from Anna Marie Designs & the card was finished.

Have a great Sunday, thanks for looking.
