Good morning, happy Saturday. Kirsten here again, standing in for Lisa. Today's card is a dark, messy one. I used Imagination Crafts Inkadinks & Silkies........
White gesso though the Imagination Crafts Diamonds stencil, dried with a heat tool so that the gesso in some areas bubbles..............
Start spraying the Inkadinks, moving the card to get drips..............
Continue adding colour with more sprays of Inkadinks..................
The gesso mostly resisted the Inkadinks, so I took a baby wipe & lightly applied first Tuscan Satin Silkies, then Denim Lace..........
Next, I used assorted bottle caps, an old gift card & the inner, plastic ring from a roll of double-sided tape with white & black gesso to add detail..........
You can see the slight shine from the Silkies................
I used the Hobby Art stamp set, Alphabet Typed for the greeting, used blue & black card for matting & layering onto a 7x7 card blank & finished with white pen doodling...........
Thanks for looking. I shall be back tomorrow with the final promotion post.

Lovely card. This would be especially great for a card for a man. xx
ReplyDeleteMessy crafting... the best kind! Love the use of found objects too, makes me feel virtuous and compensate my buying stash! Gorgeous background Kirsten.
