June Class - Silkies & Lavinia Stamps

Morning all, Kirsten here with a quick review of yesterday's classes in Maidstone. But before I begin, I must convey Lisa's apologies, she's had to postpone the petal tutorial to Wednesday. Those of you who were at the classes yesterday will have an idea of how much work went into the preparation of them & she just ran out of time.

 

The classes were all about learning to use Imagination Crafts Silkies paints & various techniques using Sparkle Medium & stamping. There was a lot to take in & do in the three hours, but everyone coped brilliantly. We used the new Zen range of stamps from Lavinia Stamps & they were a big hit with everyone. I'm not going to show you the projects - you might catch a glimpse of one or two in the photos - Lisa will do a blog post on them, probably next Saturday.

 

As usual, the tables of new products stretched to infinity & beyond - almost. :)

The Lavinia scenescapes & background papers were popular.

 

Myself & the other DT members really enjoyed making our samples this month, there were dozens of them along the length of the tables.

 

 

We will be showing you many of these in more detail in the coming weeks.

 

A LOT of Silkies were purchased........

Hopefully, the photos have given you a flavour of yesterday's adventures. An enormous thank you to everyone who came along & a very warm welcome to the new ladies who joined us. All the products in the photos will be on the website between Monday & Tuesday.
