Good morning, happy Saturday.
Yesterday saw us return to Fant Hall in Maidstone for the first class of 2014.
It was wonderful to see everyone – it was only two months since the Christmas party class, but it seemed much longer - & we were also delighted to welcome some new people.
Yesterday saw us return to Fant Hall in Maidstone for the first class of 2014.
It was wonderful to see everyone – it was only two months since the Christmas party class, but it seemed much longer - & we were also delighted to welcome some new people.
The first priority was to peruse the new crafting goodies – all three tables of it.
Dies & coordinating stamps from Joy Craft.
Papermania Urban stamps.
New Craftwork Cards collections; Vogue……
And Opulence.
Stamps from Hobby Art & Indigo Blu.
And of course, there’s got to be some bling.
When purchases had been made it was time to get crafting. These are the class projects. Made with Joy Craft dies & stamps, using Distress & Adirondack inks, as well as Promarkers & Spectrum Noir pens.
Getting organised.
The afternoon class working away.
Lots of concentration!
Nearly finished card number one.
After all that hard work, it was time for a well deserved cup of tea & a cake.
Thank you to everyone who attended yesterday. We hope you had fun & enjoy playing with your new goodies.
In next month’s class, on March 7, we will working with stencils, inks & gilding flakes & there are a few places available in both the afternoon class – from 2.30 to 5.30 – and the evening class – from 6.30 to 9.30. If you want to give stencils a go, but don’t know where to start & would like to attend a class, contact Lisa at lisabaker1@btinternet.com, or phone her on 01622 675078 & she will take your booking. (You get to keep your stencil, so you can have a play at home.)
Finally, if you’re doing any crafting this weekend, keep the new blog challenge in mind, it’s all about resist techniques.
I’ll be back on Tuesday with my regular post. Until then, happy crafting.
