Lavinia Fayllin Fairy...

Good morning everyone,

Suzanne here with the first of my two posts for the Lavinia Stamps Fortnight.

I've used the Lavinia Fayllin Fairy stamp this week to create a card and a tag

First, the tag....

 

I began by cutting to size a Poppy Background Paper

Using Versafine Black Onyx, I stamped the Fayllin Fairy

and heat embossed it using WOW Clear Sparkle embossing powder

I cut a piece of copy paper to a mound shape and placed it over the fairy in order to create 

something for the fairy to stand on by

 using Distress Ink Pads Weathered Wood and Black Soot (see below)
 

With a black fine liner pen, I drew some squiggly lines around the edge

and coloured them with a red Promarker pen.  Using a Versamark pen, I coloured over the red ink and heat embossed using WOW Clear Sparkle

I then attached the paper to a tag using Woodware Fingerlift Tape

and finished by adding some red dazzlers and ribbon

plus a red edge around the tag using the Promarker pen.

And for the card....

I started with a Lavinia Poppy Background Paper

Using Versafine Black Onyx, I stamped the Lavinia Fayllin Fairy and heat embossed it using
WOW Clear Sparkle embossing powder.

Using Distress Ink Pads in colours Weathered Wood and Black Soot
I used a Blending Tool to create some ground for the Fairy to stand on and heat embossed it with
WOW Clear Sparkle.

 

I also stamped a couple of Lavinia Poppy Pods and Weaving Ivy and heat embossed them too.

 

Using the Lavinia Weaving Ivy stamp and Distress Ink Pad Weathered Wood

I randomly stamped a background on to a Craftwork Card Blank.

I matted and layered my project using 

Woodware Fingerlift Tape and Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue

to produce the finished card.
