Love to Create

Happy Tuesday, blog visitors, Kirsten here with a very quick post to show what I did with a Tando mini printer’s tray.  I love these, they’re perfect for a small gift or crafting project.  A important tip; because they’re laser cut, there will be a dusty residue around the edges, so give all the pieces a wipe with a dry cloth, or a piece of paper towel.

I used scraps of G45 papers that I had left over from previous projects & used on of the frame layers as a guide.

I glued everything with Cosmic Shimmer glue & when it was dry I painted around the inside & outside edges with black acrylic paint.  I blended a little Wild Honey & Rusty Hinge distress inks over the paper covering the top frame.

I kept the embellishments very simple, just a few buttons & metal gears & filled the mini vial with glitter.  I had the idea of gluing it on upside down & then adding more glitter underneath with Cosmic Shimmer glue.  The quote was stamped onto shrink plastic & cut out with a Spellbinders label die before shrinking with a heat tool.
