Silky & Sparkly

Good morning crafters, thanks for visiting the blog today.

My focal image on today's card was initially meant to be a test piece, but I liked the result so much I had to use it..................

 

 

I brayered three horizontal stripes of Imagination Crafts' Silkies - Silver Satin, Denim Lace &

 Blue Brocade - onto watercolour card. I wanted some of the white base to show through, so I made sure to use only small amounts of paint..............

I stamped the Woodware Clear Magic Forest stamps over the paint with Onyx Black Versafine & heat set with WOW Clear embossing powder..........

 

 

 Then I brayered Diamond Sparkle Medium over the trees & the paint...........

 

(Remember to put your brayer in water immediately after using Sparkle Medium)

 

 

 

I built up layers of black & a soft purple core'dinations card stock & added some gems, a Hobby House brad & a piece of chiffon ribbon from my stash...............
