Hi! It's Georgina with my Friday post.
This will be my final post as part of the Design Team for Lisa B Designs.
For family reasons I have stepped down. I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Team. Thank you Lisa for having me.
For my last card I have a Christmas card idea to share with you.
I used a 148x148mm scallop edge card blank. Onto this I added a panel 13.5 x 14cm of Hobby House Check patterned paper. Across the panel I added a strip of white card and Checked paper. I stamped the sentiment using stamps from Anna Marie Designs This way for Christmas stamp set using a VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad. I mounted this onto patterned Check paper and white card. I added faux stitching around the edge.
I placed the sentiment panel onto the card and lightly drew around the edge in pencil. I then used the berry stamp from the This way for Christmas stamp set and a VersaFine ink pad to stamp the berries. I made sure the end of the berries was inside the pencil line.
When I had finished stamping I attached the sentiment with foam pads. I added single Mini Flowers along the strip. To finish the card I added Stickles to the largest berry.
A lovely card, Georgina.. You are so creative and skilled, you'll be missed from the blog. Best wishes for your future work and thank you. Jan
