3D Cones......

Good morning all,

Well I apologise for the later post today, I have been so busy getting ready for my workshop on Friday and working on lots of samples for Imagination Crafts for the NEC that in my forever growing old age now lol! I had forgot to finish my post and schedule it for this morning so here it is now........

Now as I am working on next months samples which is sparkle medium and stencils I was a little short of projects to show you this month so I thought that I would show you a couple of new makes for the class on Friday that are made with new dies, They are on the website HERE and to be honest I don't think that they are going to stay around for long as they are selling already.......

I will show you this one today with the cones, holly and spruce and the other one on Saturday.

For this card I used the Leanne Creatief Pine Cones 3D die which I have to say is the BEST cone die that I have ever used and cut brilliantly and creates these amazing 3D cones.......

  I used two colours of brown coordination card stock and used my nail scrubber to buff away the surface of the card at the edges and cone base which is so realistic. I also used the Leanne Creatief  Holly Leaves and Pine Branches die and again another brilliant die that cuts and embosses so well. Again I cut them in two green colours and buffed the edges back and cut some red berries from the set too......

The flowers were an old punch and emboss set that I had in my stash that make good Christmas roses and I added some gold seed beads to the centre with Cosmic Shimmer Glue. The background of the card was some red checked paper from my stash matted on to red card and a ribbon wrap around added to it. I also used my Spellbinders to cut a matting layers for the die cut pieces to go on........

I added some Fluffy Stuff on to the edges  of the cones and holly to give a snowy effect.

The sentiment was from Hobby Art Winter Wishes and I doodled with a fine liner around the edge and coloured with Pro-markers.......
