Fairies, Flowers & Flutterbyes

Hello blog visitors, happy Easter Monday to you.  Naturally, being a holiday, it's raining, but I am not complaining, we need all the rain we can get here in the South East of the UK.

Last Friday was Lisa's monthly class in Maidstone & we had lots of fun paper piecing, stamping, colouring, glittering & gluing.  Lisa has promised to send me photos very soon, so I can show you her gorgeous demo cards.  She has been creating lots of new cards & they are LOVELY.

Today's cards are, I think, perfect for this time of year.  They make me think of Spring flowers, the first butterflies & we all know there are fairies at the bottom of our gardens, don't we? :)  These fairies are by The Stamp Barn, but you can create cards like these with any of the myriad of fairy stamps that are available.  How about using these very cute stamps from Wild Rose Studio?  Colour them with a selection of Spectrum Noirs - not on the website yet, but available - for a very pretty result.

It has been a very long time since I made a shaker card, but these two have definitely inspired me.  They are showcasing some of the Marianne Design Creatables dies & there are new ones on the website right now, HERE.  I have the tree & the floral borders on my want list.

Lisa is doing her best to add new items to the website regularly, so please keep checking back.  If there is something you saw at the classes & don't see it on the website, please contact us.  Here are a few ways you can do this:
  1. Leave a comment on the blog
  2. Leave a comment on the Lisa B Designs FaceBook page
  3. Use the Contact Us button on the website
  4. Tweet me on Twitter @IsisArts
Finally for today, remember we are in the last few days of the BLOG CANDY draw.  Leave a comment on the blog candy post if you haven't already done so.  We will be announcing the winner on April 15 - not long to wait!

Thank you for visiting & to the ladies I spoke with at the class on Friday - thank you for your kind words.  Until next time,

Keep crafting!

Kirsten.
