November Class Samples

Good morning, I hope you had a nice weekend & weren't badly affected by Storm Angus. I'd like to show you three of the cards I made for the November class - much of what I used on the cards sold out at the class, including the Card-io stamp sets, so I won't go into too much detail.

This first card was made with the Card-io stamps, Distress inks & Diamond Sparkle Medium brayered on to the background star.........

On this card the lamp is a Card-io stamp, the greenery (stamped with Versacolor Winter Green) & the sentiment are from Hobby Art's
Nature Trail & Christmas Frosting stamp sets. The poinsettia was die cut from white vellum with the Leane Creatief flower die 004 & I made the bauble by die cutting white card & adding gold mica & glitter to Gold Shine Sparkle Medium...........

The scene on this third card was stamped with Versamark ink onto white vellum, then heat embossed with WOW! Bright White embossing powder. The gold card for the baubles & matting layer was made by mixing gold mica fragments & glitter with Gold Shine Sparkle Medium, then brayering the mix on to card painted with Antique Gold Starlights. The poinsettia is white vellum as above - after die cutting it I used my stencil embossing mat to get the raised impression of the cutting dies. I dry embossed the baubles with the Couture Creations embossing folder, Peacock Pleasure. I used Chipped Sapphire Distress ink to colour white card & added dots of Pearl Starlights around the outside edge........
