Imagination Crafts Art Stamps Class Cards........

Good morning all,

I do hope that you are keeping well, hasn't the weather changed lately? we are certainly in the throes of Autumn now.
Mind you it is a beautiful season of stunning colour and can be very inspiring!.....

Can I just say thank you to everyone that has sent me so many well wishes and cards and flowers etc, after my car accident, I really am fortunate to know such lovely people.
I am starting to feel on the mend and the bruises are starting to fade now, thankfully. I go on holiday on Sunday, so I am looking forward to some well earned rest and sunshine and just get to take it really easy for a while......

Today I thought that I would show you a closer look at the class cards that I set as the projects for last Fridays class. The class was based around Imagination Crafts Christmas Art Stamps with Starlights and Sparkle Medium.......
I felt extremely tired and my fibro wasn't great but the ladies were very patient with me!

The first card that they made was the Tree Art Stamp card, very similar to the one below that I made on Hochanda a while back but they added a message.

Art Stamps - Pine Trees

This was stamped using Versafine Black Onyx with Clear Sparkle embossing powder for the main image and then it was cut away. The textured white backgrounds were made by using Diamond Sparkle Medium and Cracked Ice with a brayer on to white card. It is a simple little card, perfect for batch making at Christmas time......

A closer look at the texture....

The second card of they made was using the Robin Art Stamp or the Santa Art stamp......

Art Stamps - Winter Robin       Art Stamps - Santa Claus
Again it was stamped in Versafine Black Onyx and then embossed with Clear Sparkle embossing  powder.
The image was painted in using Imagination Crafts Starlight paints as watercolours. To achieve this you use one part paint to two parts water and it makes the most amazing sparkly paint.
The colours used below were: Topaz, Red, Zinober Gold, Emerald and Rich Gold
The edge of the card was also stamped with Rich Gold Starlights using the Christmas Script Art Stamp and then the edge was finished off with Antique Linen Distress ink.....

A closer look at the gorgeous gilding flakes in the Starlight Paint....

The Santa card was made in the same way with the added addition of Pearl and Passion flower Starlights to create a flesh colour for the face.......

I adore painting with starlights, it really is very therapeutic......

I hope that you have liked the cards today and I wish you a great week. I will be scheduling my posts this week for the next couple of weeks as I will be away.

Please be aware that any orders placed on the website after Thursday 13th October  at 12 midday will not be processed until Monday 31st October.

Bye for now.......
Big hugs
