Multi-layered Panel

Morning, Kirsten here. It's Monday again, so it's my turn on the blog. Today's project is one of the That's Crafty! square greyboard panels, given lots of texture with paint, stamping & stencilling...........

This actually began as something completely different, but I didn't like it & painted the panel with black gesso & when that was dry I began brayering on Americana Chalky paint by Deco Art. The more paint I added, the better the texture got, with areas of black showing through............

I added some stencilling, first with the That's Crafty! Bubble Background Dinky stencil, using Smitten paint..........

Then Escape paint through the That's Crafty! Numbers Dinky stencil & Yesteryear through the TC Moc Croc Dinky stencil.........

Next step, applying white gesso with a damp baby wipe.............

Followed by Amethyst & Lilac Mist Starlights through the Imagination Crafts' Daisy Large Flower stencil............

I used a Versamark pen to go around all the petals, one or two at a time, then applying WOW! Vintage Amethyst embossing glitter on top & heat setting.............

To finish, I stamped the IM Script Art Stamp with Amethyst Starlights, applied Black & White Gold Starlights through the That's Crafty! Reverse Honeycomb stencil & stamped the Stampendous
'Life Is....' stamp with Onyx Black Versafine............
