Good morning all,
I do hope that you are all well?........
It is a pretty tough day for me today as it is a year today since we lost our beautiful mum to cancer and although I knew this day would be tough, I feel very wobbly today!!! I miss her everyday as she was such a big part of my life and very much my best friend as well as my mum as we always had such a laugh together.........God Bless you mum...... RIP xxx

Moving on........It has been a pretty tough week recovering from the NEC HobbyCrafts Show and catching up with everything back at Lisa B Designs HQ, so I have not had as much time as I had hoped to play around more with my gorgeous Starlight Paints, so I will save that for next week........
I promised last week to go in to more depth of how the class cards were created for the November class so here goes........
This first card was made using the following:
Leanne Creatief - Multi Flower Die 004
Leanne Creatief - Holly Leaves and Pine Branches
Leanne Creatief - Multi Flower Die 004
Leanne Creatief - Holly Leaves and Pine Branches
Creative Expressions - Sue Wilson - Holly Sprays Die
Imagination Crafts - Diamond Stencil
Crafts Too - Diamond Gems - Irridescent
Card-io Stamps - Christmas Sentiments
Imagination Crafts - Starlights - Red, Emerald and Green
I started by adding a soft background of Shabby Shutters Distress Ink through my Diamond Stencil with a Finger Dauber to add some soft background colour to the top right and bottom left of the front of a 7" x 7" white card......
I die cut a circle aperture using a couple of Spellbinders Nestability dies from my stash and then embossed them with a script embossing folder from my stash too. Then I went on to die cut my holly, flower heads and pine branches from the dies above and then added a small amount of each paint separately on to a tile and added a touch of water to make a wash and then painted in my die cut elements......
I then stamped my message on to the centre of my card from the Card-io Christmas Sentiment Stamp Set and attached my circle aperture on to the card with 3D foam pads......
I played around with the placement of the die cut elements and then added them to the card using Cosmic Shimmer Glue. I shaped and built up the flower and then added it and glued a Diamond Gem in the centre of it and it was done. It really is a simple but very classy card I think, let me know what you think?........

A little closer look.....
This second card was made using the following:
I began by die cutting a large circle using my Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities (the smallest circle) and also a set of the Sue Wilson - Winter Trees out of white card........
I stamped and embossed the circle using the Card-io Tall Trees Stamp with Versafine Black Onyx and embossed it with Wow Clear Gloss Embossing Powder . I then used my green Starlight paint as I did on the card before and painted my trees and let them dry (it takes about 5 mins, they are really quick drying ).......
I then used my mylar mound stencil from a previous post and class ( hand cut plastic stencil, if you missed it you could use copy paper ) to create two mounds at the bottom of the card using Hickory Smoke Distress Ink very lightly. I then attached my circle with Cosmic Shimmer Glue to the centre of a 7" x 7" white card........
I then had a play around with the placement of the trees before attaching them to the card with Cosmic Shimmer Glue. I added a stamped and embossed sentiment to the top using the Card-io Stamp Set Christmas Sentiments and then added a touch of colour to the top of the card using the pine spruce stamp from Card-io Stamps - Classic Christmas ( you can just about see it in the picture, the flash was a little bright )........
Finally, I added a bit of bling to it in the form of glue and glitter using a 2-Way Zig Glue Pen and some Stampendous Crystal Glitter.........
Again a simple but classy card.........
Well, that is all from me for now peeps, I wish you a lovely rest of the week and try to stay warm as the forthcoming weather does not look too good for the next few days.....
Big crafty hugs,
Lisa B xxx
