The details for the August challenge are on the challenge page & here’s the plaque I made for it.

The layout was inspired by a card I saw on the Graphic 45 blog & I made a few additions to it.  The papers are from the Ladies Secret Diary collection, links to each are below.  I cut the shape from white, hammered textured card stock & blended Antique Linen distress ink around the edges.

The pocket is edged with a piece of Crafts Too lace & a scrap of ribbon from my stash & I used organza ribbon for the tags.

The little birds are by Tando Creative & as I’ve said before, don’t forget to first wipe around the edges of them to remove the dusty residue.  I glued on the papers with Cosmic Shimmer glue & then cut around each piece with a craft knife, smoothing the edges afterwards with a sanding block.
The flowers are Hobby House & Petaloo & I added gold liquid pearls as a final decoration.  I haven't put a quote or sentiment on this project, because I couldn't decide what it should be, so that will be added later.
