Hobby House Christmas Elves

Hello blog visitors, happy Saturday.  This post could take me a while.  Not only am I watching Strictly Come Dancing, but my fingers are freezing, it's so cold!

Anyway, to business.  After making a lot of cards, I needed a change, so when I saw these little elves I thought a mini bunting might be nice.

I started out by embossing the purple core'dinations card with gold EP, with some baubles stamps I have in my Christmas stash.  When I put the card onto the white bunting it did not look right at all, so I went through my green distress inks & found that Bundled Sage matched the green core'dinations card I was also using.  I think it worked very well & brought all the elements together.

I love these Hobby House flowers, these are the Red Velvet ones.  I pierced holes in the bunting, so that I could push the floers through & then secured them at the back.

I added Glamour Dust to the elves, Glossy Accents to the baubles & some gold liquid pearls as embellishments.

Here's the finished piece.  The bells have been in my stash for ages, I couldn't resist adding them to this.

Coincidentally, Maeve used some of these toppers on her cards which she has entered into the challenge, you can see them HERE.  And it's only November 24, so there's still time to enter.  the more often you enter, the more chance you have of winning the £20 voucher to spend at www.lisabdesigns.co,uk

Clicking on the links below will take you to the items I used on the bunting.  The other Hobby House die cut toppers can be found HERE & the flowers HERE.
