Evening all, Kirsten here, I hope you've enjoyed your weekend, despite the cold & the rain. On Friday we were in Maidstone for Lisa's class. It had been two months since the previous class, so it as lovely to see everyone.
Lisa had lots of new - and very tempting - Christmas goodies for us to buy & most of us found it impossible to resist.
The two class projects were made with these gorgeous stamps from Hobby Art, the cards at the back are inspiration on using the stamp sets.
This is the card we made in the first half of the class. Such a cute snowman & everyone loved that he has a front & a back. We coloured him with Promarkers & Spectrum Noir pens & added lots of glitter.
The second card was all about scene building & we used the stamps from the Reindeer set. Lisa showed us how easy it is to use masking & the stamps, such as the log, trees & snow mound to build a scene very quickly & easily.
Here is our second card. Isn't that a well-fed robin?? Again we used the Spectrum Noir pens & Promarkers to colour the images & Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on the top squares & on the inside. The final touch was Glamour Dust glitter.
The ladies in the evening class working away on their cards.
And here is Lisa. As always, ready to answer questions & help if anyone gets stuck.
As well as the Hobby Art stamps, Lisa also had Hunkydory's & Helidot's Christmas products.
These are not on the website yet, because Lisa left for Taunton yesterday, where she was demonstrating for J & C Creations at the Sincerely Yours show. She returns tomorrow, so if you'd like to buy anything you see here, email her at enquiries@lisabdesigns.co.uk .
Before I finish, some housekeeping notes:
The next class is on Friday, December 7 & it is the Christmas Party Class. Not only will there be the class projects & the craft shop, there will also be prizes, a full cold buffet & a lot of fun. The cost is £17 & places are very limited, so if you would like to attend, email Lisa at enquiries@lisabdesigns.co.uk as soon as you can.
The new challenge for November is 'Christmas Baubles', all the details are HERE.
The 25% discount on the die cut silhouettes, Craftwork Cards & Nitwits collection is still available.
I think that is all for tonight, so until next time, thanks for visiting the blog & take care.
Kirsten
