Thursday 8 November 2018

Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're well. Dropping in to remind you that the Crafter's Companion Christmas card making workshop is this coming Sunday, November 11, at Grove Green Community Hall, ME14 5BT, between 10am and 3pm.
As usual, it's been a bit hectic here. I got back on Sunday night from the Hobbycraft Christmas show at the NEC - it was great fun and so busy! - and I've hardly stopped since, there's still lots to do before Sunday.
I'd like to say a huge thank you for the lovely response to the new stamp sets I designed for Hobby Art. They were very successful on Hochanda and almost sold out at the NEC, but I managed to get a few sets for the Lisa B Designs' website........

In other news, I have a very limited quantity of the latest Distress Oxide inks available on the website. These are the final twelve colours..............

At this Sunday's workshop, we'll be using Crafter's Companion stamp and die sets to make Christmas cards. The workshop fee includes a stamp and die set, plus a separate die, to use during the workshop and to take home afterwards. Here's a snippet of one of the samples..............

For those of you attending the workshop, here is a list of what we are going to be using, but PLEASE don't worry if you don't have any of them as there will be some of each to use. If you do have any of them and want to bring them with you, it may save you having to wait for items:

Die Cutting Machine
Heat Gun
Onyx Black Versafine Ink/Black Archival Ink
Distress Oxides
Tumbled Glass Distress Ink
Clean Colour Pens
Clear/Coloured Wink of Stella Pens
Metallic Paints eg Gold Starlights

The mobile shop will be open during the workshop, please feel free to drop in if you're in the area.

That's all from me for now. Have a great November and good luck if you're starting your Christmas preparations.
Hugs, Lisa B xx
