Morning all, happy Monday. How was the second weekend of 2016 for you? I spent it in the craft room, ignoring the rain. I'm following on from Martina's post last Thursday, with a few Lavinia Stamps & Brusho cards of my own, from earlier in 2015........
The Spotty Toadstools were heat embossed with gold embossing powder & Turquoise & Lime Green Brusho mixed with water & brushed on top. I used the Nuevo embossing folder from Couture Creations to dry emboss a piece of Super Smooth card for the top layer..........
Painting the dry embossed layer this time with Lime Green & Turquoise Brusho. This is the Dream embossing folder from Couture Creations. Second & third generation stamping of the Ink Caps with Ripe Persimmon Distress ink. The Spotty Toadstools were heat embossed in gold again & painted with Turquoise & Lemon Brusho.............
For the third card I used
Fresh Lime Dylusions paint through the Imagination Crafts Hexagons stencil, Brilliant Red Brusho splatters on top & stamped the Ink Caps with
Onyx Black Versafine..............
Before I go, I have to give you some news from Google. They're making "improvements" again. This is the announcement from Blogger Buzz............
In 2011, we announced the retirement of
Google Friend Connect for all non-Blogger sites. We made an exception
for Blogger to give readers an easy way to follow blogs using a variety
of accounts. Yet over time, we’ve seen that most people sign into Friend
Connect with a Google Account. So, in an effort to streamline, in the
next few weeks we’ll be making some changes that will eventually require
readers to have a Google Account to sign into Friend Connect and follow
blogs.
As part of this plan, starting the week of January 11, we’ll remove the ability for people with Twitter, Yahoo, Orkut or other OpenId providers to sign in to Google Friend Connect and follow blogs. At the same time, we’ll remove non-Google Account profiles so you may see a decrease in your blog follower count.
We encourage you to tell affected readers (perhaps via a blog post), that if they use a non-Google Account to follow your blog, they need to sign up for a Google Account, and re-follow your blog. With a Google Account, they’ll get blogs added to their Reading List, making it easier for them to see the latest posts and activity of the blogs they follow.
We know how important followers are to all bloggers, but we believe this change will improve the experience for both you and your readers.

So, there it is, nothing we can do about it. If you want to follow the blog & leave comments, you're going to have to get a Google account & then re-follow. You can sign up to the Follow by Email subscription too.
That's it for today, thanks for visiting the blog, see you next time.

Lovely cards, the mix of embossed white cardstock and vivid Brushos makes for a great contrast.
ReplyDeleteSo more Google changes....
Great set of cards, love the colours used and great info. xx
ReplyDeleteWonderful mushrooms (I should send my mother to see them - she's a fungiphile!) - and I love the delicate inky colour effects.
