For the next four months we will be mostly concentrating on Christmas & the theme for the September challenge is a ‘Christmas card/scrapbook page/altered art piece that is predominantly white, with a splash of colour’.
My project began as a card, but I changed it to a little wall hanging.
I created the stripes by adding strips of washi tape & applying distress ink on top, then removing the tape. Washi/tissue tape isn’t terribly sticky, so it’s perfect for something like this.
I embossed a piece of white card to go on top & added the Joy Crafts ice crystal die cuts, the quote from the Hobby Art Butterfly Kisses Snowflake stamp set, organza ribbon & some white liquid pearls.
As the big day is only one hundred & something days away, we’re hoping the challenge will get your creative juices flowing & we can’t wait to see your projects. Until next time, happy crafting.
Kirsten.
Hi Lisa, can you please delete my entry for this challenge, I didn't read it properly...sorry.... saw Christmas but not the "white with a splash of colour", I should have taken inspiration form your lovely hanging : )
