May Newsletter

Hello my lovelies,
Happy May, it is the month of my Birthday and the sun has been shining for days, so I am one happy bunny!
I know I keep saying it but where is this year going?
It is has been such great weather these last few days and it seems to make alot of people happier and much more frienly and approachable after what has seemed like a very long winter....
Things have been as hectic as usual, so I am chasing my tail somewhat but we have the lovely textile workshop coming up this Sunday 13th May, between 10am and 3pm at Grove Green Community Hall, ME14 5BT.
I am really looking forward to this class as we get to make either a cushion, tote bag or cooler bag and are going to be stamping and colouring on to fabric as well as making fabulous backgrounds.
Those of you attending, we will be using the following items, so if you have any of the following and can bring them with you it may save you having to wait for items:
Paints (Starlights fabric or Deco Art SoSoft fabric), Archival Black ink pad, Micron or permanent black fine liner, high tack stencil tape, heat gun, water spray bottle, stencil brushes, fine paint brushes, apron and gloves if you don't like messy hands, baby wipes, kitchen roll.
You can also bring favourite stencils or stamps if there are any you wish to use on the item you are creating.
(Please make sure that all your items are clearly marked with your name or initials on them)
I will of course have some amounts of these items but you may have to share, if you don't like sharing then bring them with you. Items will be available to buy at the shop too.
Prepare to get creative ladies!!
This is a couple of sneak peeks of one of the cushions and a cooler bag.....
You can't see it very well but the sparkle on them is amazing!

There are still a couple of places left for the workshop if you are interested and you can book HERE, the cost of the workshop is £30.00.
If you wish to make the cooler bag please ring me on 01622 675078 as there are a limited amount of these. They are a fully insulated bag and have a pocket on one side and zip at the top.

The following workshop is on 26th May and is the Foam Flower Card making Master Class.
In this class you will learn how to make different types of foam flowers and make up to four cards. You will also get £10.00 worth of goods to take home with you included in the class price. You can book this workshop HERE, there are now only limited places left for this class......

In other news, I've added lots of new items to the website, including new IndigoBlu stamps which we will be using in the oxide workshop, dies, Paper Artsy Stamps, Hobby Art Stamps, Crackle paint, brayers, press to impress magnets and lots more........
The June issue of Craft Stamper is in stock and on the website. As always, it's packed full of gorgeous mixed media and stamping projects and includes a FREE acrylic stamp............
You can find all the new products in the What's New section.
I think that's all the news for now. I hope you have a great May and I'm looking to forward to seeing many of you at the workshops.
Hugs, Lisa B xx
